Vista’s head social media co-ordinator Lauren Barnes takes a look at the Pink Door Trend that is splitting opinion but most definitely catching the eye!

Home Improvement Instagram Influencers

As a Mum of three young girls, I am familiar with pink! But pink doors was a new one to us last year, now it is all over Instagram and it is great to see people being unique and going for such a positive and hopeful colour in these uncertain times. One Google search and you’ll see pink doors are a thing. Not only composites but all over London and Georgian Quarters, everywhere people have been painting their timber doors pink for a while now and they look amazing.

There is just something romantic and fun about pink and we all need that in our lives. Of course, it also takes a bit of bravery to go for it as there is no going back once our door turns up with the fitters to go in. Thankfully, some of our customers have had requests from some very brave and bold clients.

Pale Pink Front Doors

First up was our own Instagram sensation Tracey @my3rs101 in Oxfordshire who used Hanney Glazed Ltd to install a fabulous Cottage Diamond. Tracey has already had a great response on Instagram when she dressed up the door for Halloween and Christmas to great effect and the admiration of her neighbours!

Jewel Windows in Surrey have fitted one for the aptly named @misspink1980 aka Sarah in Sandhurst. She went for our Jacobean door, a more contemporary design. Both Sarah and Tracey chose RAL 3015, a Light Pink that is easy on the eye and has a classic feel to it. Again, it is all in the presentation and Sarah has a matching bird catch and some fantastic climbing ivy around the entrance.

Our final featured pink door was fitted in Kent by Pattenden Windows & Conservatories and they went for a simple solid panel in a slightly darker shade of pink. The door though has been given a further unique twist with black hardware and bespoke knocker bought separately.

Trade composite doors guaranteed to turn heads

Whilst I know pink isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, I for one love seeing homeowners brightening up our streets with these flamboyant door colour choices that will certainly turn heads. Each of these pink doors will stand out and catch the eye of anyone passing and maybe give them food for thought on their next door purchase.
