Despite the continued challenges facing the window industry supply chain, award-winning manufacturer Vista Panels has maintained an impressive one-week lead time on its range of PVCu door panels.

Business Development Manager Ian Smith comments: “As with most in the industry, we experienced a huge surge in demand once lockdown restrictions were lifted last year, and sales of all our products, including our PVCu door panels, soared.

“While we were not immune to the challenges posed by the pandemic, we took a strategic approach to reopening, scaling up staff and production levels on a week-by-week basis, meaning we could put a limited production and support team in place to meet immediate customer demand.

“It was this approach combined with close relationships with our suppliers that prepared us for the supply chain disruption and subsequent increased delivery times that soon plagued the industry.

“Earlier this year, we also invested in an expansion programme, increasing our factory by 18,000 square feet which enabled us to increase our stock holding and avoid supply chain disruptions.

“Today, thanks to strategic planning, investment in the business and a lot of hard work behind the scenes, we’re able to offer an impressive one-week lead time on our PVCu door panels, something which is still very hard to come by in the current market.”

Supplying to fabricators and installers across the UK, Vista’s high-quality double glazed PVCu door panels are thermally efficient, can be reinforced to a high level of door security, and can be supplied with a large range of glazed options, stained glass options and foils.

Vista have also recently added Agate Grey to the range to go along with the popular Anthracite and Slate Grey options.

Founded in 1995, Vista specialises in composite and PVCu panels and doors, supplying to fabricators across the UK and Europe. For more information call 0151 608 1423 or visit
