Vista Panels’ composite doors are earning high praise from social housing tenants in Central Scotland, thanks to a major installation project carried out by Scottish home improvement specialist CR Smith.
The project has seen hundreds of doors replaced as part of a housing association’s wider programme to upgrade homes in line with the latest sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
Tenants have welcomed the improvements, with a post-installation survey reporting that residents were “very satisfied” with the installation of their new composite door from CR Smith and Vista. Many noted an immediate improvement in warmth, as well as enhanced security and peace of mind.
This installation is one of several contracts where CR Smith has turned to Vista to supply its XtremeDoor and uPVC door panels.
CR Smith has built a strong reputation with housing associations and local authorities for delivering high-quality products and workmanship. The company operates across the domestic, public sector and private development markets, and has partnered with Vista for more than 17 years to install uPVC panels and composite doors in homes across Scotland.
Colin Eadie, Managing Director at CR Smith Manufacturing, said: “We are delighted with the positive feedback from tenants. Quality, durability, and thermal efficiency are essential in every contract we deliver, whether retail or commercial. Just as important are appearance and security, giving homeowners pride in their property and confidence in their safety. By working with Vista, we can consistently achieve this.”
Chris Burrows, Managing Director at Vista added: “We understand the needs of companies like CR Smith, whose attention to detail and quality workmanship demands a product that matches their own operational approach. They need a supplier they can rely on to deliver the product when it’s required and to the specifications they set out. Having worked with CR Smith for nearly two decades speaks volumes, and we are extremely proud of the achievements this partnership has delivered.”
